I'm more of a 'two cleaning pots, swish it around and wipe it on some kitchen roll' kinda guy. Do many of you actually follow the above procedure religiously?

When drybrushing, my brushes tend to clump up rather fast needed frequent cleanings...is this typical?

You're using acrylics, aren't you? I had this problem when using Tamiyas. Nothing you can really do about it, except clean the brush more often. When I was drybrushing with Tamiya, I wouldn't completely clean my brush, just sort of rinse if off in alcohol. Of course, that only works with Tamiya, since they are alcohol based.

I usually just swish the brush around a bit and then wipe it off really good with my paint rag. Haven't had any problems.
