Darksiders: Ulthane WIP

Thanks guys, I'll look into those solutions if further attempts should utterly fail

And while I'm trying to figure out how to sculpt that braid, I've started working on Ulthane's cowl. The back of that is finished. This is a tricky part of the sculpting work: On this piece of the cowl I need to sculpt the left shoulder plate. And once that's done, I need to sculpt the rest of the cowl. We'll see how that goes, eh?

Haven't updated in a while, but I did sculpt some more stuff. Yes, I know, more sculpting?! The finish line is coming closer, though, no worries!

Getting back into the swing of things. Speaking of swinging, how about a hammer that'll make Mjolnir look like a Playskool toy?



Also found a suitable solution for his braid: various strands of sewing thread, braided together. Phew! Almost entering the painting stage, yay!

Minor update, Ulthane is joined by none other than Death. Will start a new thread for Death soon, now that I've finally settled for using Baroness' hair, after numerous sculpting attempts failed.

Ulthane is close to being painted, need to finish sculpting his hammer.
