The guy at the top (Detroit Tigers), is that Ty Cobb? If so, great job!

What was that one-handed pitcher's name, I remember watching him when I was younger...didn't he throw a no-hitter? Damn, I hate getting old.

That was Jim Abbott and my customer took that piece to get autographed. I've got a couple pics of it.

Customer said Mr. Abbott was blown away by it and spent some extra time talking with him and his son.

Wow, that's a great story. If you tried that with some of today's star athletes, they'd probably try to sue you for using their image without permission, lol.

The Jim Abbott is a cool piece, but my fav from the bunch is definitely the Bo Jackson, lol! I'm guessing you used a pitcher's legs for that one, great idea.

Thanks. Yep Bo started out as a 12" Nolan Ryan, but everything you see was sculpted except the shoes, helmet, bat, left kneecap, and under the helmet. Basically used that and a Sammy Sosa head as an armature to sculpt over. The customer who bought that also got it signed, but not a cool story from it. Guess Bo doesn't like his strikeouts memorialized

That stuff all sucks! Why would you show that all here??? You are an outcast..... or, at least that is what we were called by some of our old sports "brothers"
