    Default Youtube video upload

    Hi Guys, I'm having problem uploading videos on youtube...it kinda degrade the quality of the video when I upload it on youtube. I'm uploading an mpeg4 format. Just want to know how you guys maintain the quality of your slideshow videos when you upload it on youtube. thanks!

    What is your compression rate prior to upload? Typically youtube doesn't change or degrade quality. Also, it may take youtube's engines some time to process to high quality (usually about 30 minutes to an hour)

    You might get a message above the video like "Video stll processing quality may improve"

    thanks for the fast help sir.I set it to 30..what is the ideal rate? maybe I'll wait for an hour and check it again if the quality will improve.

    "set it to 30" where? from your video editing software, or on youtube (somehow)?

    I know with most (probably all) video editing softwares, there's options for quality on the export...

    from the video editing software. and it came out good I also set it to HD. its just when I upload it to youtube the quality degrades...

    I'm using iPhoto for the slide show the fotomagico for the video conversion.

    Thanks for the help! It worked! the quality improved after 15-30mins tnx a lot!
