TMNT & Splinter
I was really impressed by the new TMNT figures like many others, but considering how much detail is in the original sculpt of each turtle and splinter I felt I had to give these guys a shot at trying to make those details pop. I've been slowing working on each of these guys in the past 2 1/2 weeks. So here's my attempt at giving these guys a go.
Splinter-Torn gi apart, washed, painted up all the details for Splinter then fixed gi back on him and painted that up. Added base with target and gave him a bow and 3 arrows as well as a quiver as a nod to the old toy. 1 arrow can actually be shot from the bow using the fishing string. Gave him a paint scheme to reflect his old toy but more detailed and dark to match the boys.
Leo-Torn apart, gave joints more clearance room to move especially the head, washed, then painted up with a dark scheme, but kept a little bit 'cleaner' than the rest. Given a base with a stand for him to place any of his sword(s).
Donny-Torn apart, gave joints more clearance room to move especially the head (each joint being sanded to avoid paint rub), washed, then painted up with a dark scheme reminiscent of his vintage toy counterpart. Gave him a base like the others but had to cobble together pieces of fodder to make it seem like a small section of his workshop.
Mikey-Torn apart, gave joints more clearance room to move especially the head, washed, then painted up with a dirty kind of color scheme which I feel works. Then he was given the base that can display his nunchuks and various other accessories
Raph-Torn apart, gave joints more clearance room to move especially the head, washed, then painted up with a dark scheme that gave him a very pissed off gritty feel. Also decided to give him a bunch more cuts on his chest and back shell too. Then gave him the base with the wooden dummy which seemed to fit with Raph since he's always beating something or someone up, lol.
These guys took a little longer than I wanted, but I'm quite happy with the end results on each on them.
Thanks for Looking!

WOW!! You made all of those hella bad ass!! Great work all around! What kind of primer did you use on the softer parts? I have yet to open mine so I don't know what's soft plastic or harder plastic , I assume the ends of the bandanas and splinter's gi would be soft. Don't mean to thread jack! So hell ya you kicked ass on these!
