I have to admit to almost liking the first film as Stallone did fit the bill physically as the judge, but it was ruined for me because...

a) He took his helmet off, killing over two decades of tradition, and
b) Rob Schneider

Well, I caved and watched the vid. Mmmmm :/ I'm hoping it's just bad editing, but I'm not getting my hopes up. He's one the UK's best homegrown comicbook assets and it looks like the legend may be let down again. And there was I hoping for a follow up with the Dark Judges.

I suppose they could reuse the flimsy looking bikes in a remake of Street Hawk.

And at least Karl Urban keeps his helmet on. He was great in Shortland Street (Kiwi ER).

Must stop taking these cynicism pills...
