CUSTOM DOTM VOYAGER CLASS SHOCKWAVE[B][/B

I didnt like the Hasbro Dotm Shockwave we got so I wanted to do a more accurate Shockwave. I was looking through a few pics of custom Shockwaves and I like FrogDNAs version so I based my one on his with a few changes.
Shockwave is fully articulated, head,arms,waist,legs and hand/fingers. He has a red LED for his eye, the switch and led chip/batterie is inside his upper body.

Shapeways voyager Starscream ariculated hand- I removed the finger parts from the Shapeway hands and addd Shockwaves fingers to it.


PAINT JOB

I used Tamiya Enamel color paints for the paint job
Flat Black
Mettalic Grey
Chrome
Gloss Purple

I dry brushed the mettalic grey on after coating him with flat black and added bits of chrome paint to parts i wanted to stand alittle bit more, after that dried I gave him a wash of purple then drybrushed over the purple with the grey again. I didnt want the purple to stand out to much, I only wanted there to be a hint of purple on him like how it was in the movie.
