    Default DOTM LEADER SHOCKWAVE

Well he is finally done! Got alot of inspiration for this from Encline's Shockwave.

    I used:

    2007 Leader Megatron
    Rotf voyager Megatron
    DOTM voyager shockwave
Custom cast head and ribcage by Arteloko customs
    Starscream hand from fakebusker

    Tons of articulation done here,

    Balljoint waist
    balljoint elbows both arms
ratchet shoulders and upper arms 360 degrees
    Ratchet knees
    swivel upper thighs 180 degrees
    Balljoint head
    Balljoint writs and hand
    All fingers individual articulation

Many different shades of steel, silver and titanium, with some under tones of tamiya smoke and some light touches of pavo purple to finish him off.
Battery pack is held in place by rare earth magnet as well as the back plate for easy removal and replacement of batteries. Push button on back to operate LED "eye".

So give it to me straight, what you like, or what you hate, what you would have like to seen done different.

First, Let me say I REALLY like the way this came out overall. Given it is in CC though, Ill "give it to you straight" as you say... The styrene bits. Thats my only issue. The kind of looked rushed brother. Or maybe like you used too much heat when bending them. Its just that you see them right next to bits that have smooth bends, and it really stands out that they are quite wavy and uneven. However, I think you paint apps on this rather make up for it, and the shading (or it may be the lighting on the pics) blends those bends in well, and the detail is awesome. Like I said in the beginning, I really like this over all. Nice work!

thanks for the feedback Eyes-of-a-Snake, I intentionally did that cause I wanted some of the panels to look scorched, warped and battle beaten whil some of the underlying panels were somewhat "protected" I may not have conveyed the effect well enough for others to see what I was going for.

Theres a quick solution to it though. If this bothered me all I would do is add some paint to make those parts look weathered and I think this would take care of it.

I hate that this is not mine.

Honestly, this is really good. If I had to nit pick, it would be the shoulders. Something seems a little off but not sure how. But I think what Arte said could work. Adding some tiny bits of weathered paint might make it blend.
