Default Leader Shockwave With Chernobyl diorama

    hey guys,man where to start.....

this was a fun project, very time consuming also!i took a few risks on this one so i hope people like this!

ok first off i wanted to do a scene of sorts, nothing grand just something to compliment the figure,so iv been messing around with these worn warhammer style scratch built bases for a while now,i regret not taking surrounding pics of the base cos it was a real pain in the ass!built from styrene, polystyrene reenforced with pva and various things

ok shockwave-id seen lots of versions i really liked, the main thing was the megatron as a base which to me is a great jumping off point,i wanted to bulk his upper section up so i looked all over the planet to find shoulder parts that would be the right look and stay faithful to the movie,in the end i used parts from a guyver kit i had, there very rare and expensive so i had to cast the parts haha

that said i realize this is not like 100 percent movie accurate,i embellished on the chest shield also a little and added tones of purple and some green (which are so hard to see on the pics!) which were not present in the screen shots i used but i felt it need something other than stell, also i used duraaliminium for the finish as i wanted a real dark steel look,i was concerned this would look like my rotf megz had i gone with the same scheme

the entire figure was airbrushed and i chromed his sword thingy just to break up the colour scheme a little, figs used were

    tftm megatron
    rotf prime
    leader brawl
    guyver model kits
    voyager shockwave
    and various other bits

oh and led wired into megz old battery pack flipped around, all nice and neat and easy battery change and the hose came from a boom/pop shield haha

and finally big thanks to arte loko, his stuff is awesome and really well done and service was excellent,i highly recommend anyone to use for cast parts, the shockwave
head i got from him was excellent

cheers guys hope you like it.
