hell yes. I remember reading nintendo power for the weaknesses of each boxer. Techmo bowl was great too, if I recall, you could upgrade your team's players, right? I remeber nes all star baseball also, we knew a cheat to upgrade the heck out of our players.

All my favorite games are from the previous generation. I think it boils down to replayability for me. I've played all the Zelda, Metroid and Castlevania games over and over so many times and they are all still fun.

I just picked up a Korean game system called the Caanoo and its awesome. I have NES, SNES, GB/GBC/GBA, Sega Genesis/Master System, Neo Geo, PS1 and Mame/CPS2 all on this one handheld system. Early Christmas present for myself lol.

isn't it crazy to think that the entire NES library would be like 1MB if put on a hard drive. There are some awesome emulators out there on the web. what's extra-cool is that a lot of them offer a "save anytime anywhere" option, which makes fighting ANY boss cake.

When I first got my own pc, back in 2000, there were a ton of emulators out on the net. I remember one was called MAME. You could get them for old video games but you could also get them for old Arcade games.

I remember having the real arcade versions of Ms Pacman and Mat Mania, in particular. That Mat Mania was a flash from the past, great game.

I got there in the nick of time, by early 2001, they were already starting to outlaw the game files as piracy and you would go to sites where you were supposed to be able to download them and they were already taken down. I used to have all of them on a CD, but I've since lost them.

When I first figured out emulators it was like opening pandoras box. Loading from save states is awesome if you really eff up. My complete collection of NES with emulator is only 111 mb lol

An they all fit in my pocket.
