2011 Halloween/Fairy Tale Contest

Ok Guys. You've asked for it so here it is.

We are going to do a Halloween/Fairy Tale contest. You can use any type of action figure from any genre and dress them up. You can do a Fairy Tale theme or anything related to Halloween.

You want to do a Were Wolf Optimus? Awesome. How about a Zombie GI Joe Team? Thats cool too. Or maybe a Vampire Superman? Anything Goes.

You just have to take any character and put them in the theme.

The Top prize will be $50 to BBTS. Unless we have other donations for prizes that's really all we got right now.

This is your chance to really show off your skills though. Get creative don't think in the box.

The Deadline will be Nov 30th 2011. So get to customizing.

RULES!!


1. You must create a unique Halloween/Fairy Tale inspired character.

2. All Members with 30 or more posts can enter & win.

3. This has to be a NEW Custom. It can not have appeared on any other forum or contest.

4. You can use any style or size of Action Figure you choose.

5. Groups of figures are not allowed. But if you are making a Star Wars or GI Joe figure you are allowed to include a vehicle if you wish.

6. Only one Entry per Person. Sorry guys but multiple entries always seem to muck up a contest.

7. Do not use any identifying marks on your photos.

8. Entries must be photographed in front of a plain background. This is for fair judgment purposes.

9. Entries must be received by November 30th, 2011.

10. Winner will be selected by blind poll of peers. This is why its necessary to make all the photos as un signed as possible.

12. Entries must be emailed to contest@procustomizers.com You will need to submit 4 Photos. 800x600 as the biggest size. They need to be well lighted with a white background. The 4 photos should be of the front, back and each side of the custom. If you are doing a figure and a vehicle you may include six photos.

13. You may NOT submit or post your custom for this contest on any other forum until the contest is over or you will be disqualified.

14. Prizes are subject to change.

Just a quick Q. Does it have to be a white background? I just figured a black background would be more atmospheric for a halloween piece. No-one's afraid of the bogeyman when the lights are on

Also, would a halloween monster be okay or does it have to be a crossover/dress up?

I believe the white background is to make voters harder to guess who's the customizer ?

I would prefer black backdrop too actually

OK... LoL Change the rule to this... Solid Background Color... What I was getting at is many of us use signature type photos... that's what I meant.

Change of plan on my entry. I don't know if it's better or worse but I think it fits.
