WFC Scourge

Hey Guys, trying to finish this one asap. Basically used the RID Scourge as my color scheme but now I am thinking about adding some red apps here and there?? So what do you think - Red apps or not? If I do, they'd prolly be around the chest area mostly and subtle. NOTE: The top portion of his windshields just above the blue line was painted a light gray like the actual RID figure so that area is out of the question. I will add the red light apps to his knee caps (flipped right now).

Maybe I should've made the blue apps on the shield/hood Red??? He will have a red sword, it's already crafted, just not painted yet...

i'm not sure about the red apps, but there seems to be a need of some contrast between the black metal, his chest plates and his robotic silver parts. Except for blue which really looks nice btw, the color scheme blends in together too much. If you do not have an eye for detail the figure looks like a black/grey blob.

Thanks, yeah I did paint the chest plates gray like the RID version after all, I think that broke up that area pretty well and I definitely agree that it needed a break up somewhere.

The only other thing I would have done differently would be to make his chest windows red with the blue line going through them. That would also help break up the black a bit.

I actually thought about that Steve and pondered on it for a long time but I went with the same look as the RID Scourge and did the upper chest section in a silvery gray.

if this was something i commissioned you for i would have liked a non battle damaged version. i would imagine him to be extremely vain in personality and care about his outward appearance.

other than that, instead of a blue line on his front window i would have him have a red line. i like that minimalistic look. less is more... perfect otherwise.

That's a good idea with the red line on the chest. I might've done that if I thought of it first.

It still ca,e out good. I'm working on a RID Scourge/Battle Tanker for Hater06 and I'm using the RID Scourge color scheme and also taking my own creative license with it. One of the bigger changes will be the windows on the chest. I'll have to paint them red because of his transformation. I'll have to post some WIP pics soon.
